How do i initialize a 2TB external drive in Windows 7

Just Bought a WD 2TB Caviar green and although it is shown in Disk Management Initialize Disk MBR option just shows a pop up window
Virtual Disk Manager incorrect function with a red X and an OK button.

How helpful is that?
