How do i remove the write protection error message from my usb flash disc

While transferring files from my PC to my USB Flash Drive. I received an error message – The Disk can not be written because it is write protected. Please remove the write protection from the volume in drive \Device|Harddisk1\DR 3.internt explorer cannot open this link.
