How Many DNS Servers??

I am installing an internal DNS Server. We currently use two DNS Servers provided from our ISP. These IP address’s are pushed out through DHCP. My question is, do I add my Internal DNS Server to the DHCP Scope and move it to the top of the list.If I do that, how will 3 DNS Servers affect the clients?
