How To Add A Background Pattern

In the Display Properties, In the Background Tab, I’ve found the path to add Wallpapers (C:\WINDOWS\WEB\Wallpaper). However, I cannot locate where to add Background Patterns. Maybe I just don’t understand, in Patterns there is an Edit Button, but I only seem to be able to change the existing pattern’s names. How do I add patterns?
