How to calculate CRC in hardware

I am generating a Cyclic Redundancy Checksum (CRC) via software. Is there a way to generate a CRC from hardware? IE from a network card, hard disk driver, other? The CRC is calculated for a file. This would be for a MS-Windows computer.
