How to compile without .NET framework?

Hi,

I’ve done my thing. Got it to work BUT when I send mye program out to “my friends and family” they can’t run it because they don’t have .NET framework innstalled.

It seems ridiculous that MS have given out Visual Studio without the ability to “stand-alone”.

Anybody remember QuickBasic? At least you’ve got the alternative there on how to compile it.

My question therfore is; how do you compile a VB.NET program that is not dependant on .NET framework?
