How to convince my IT manager that peer-2-peer streaming can be safe

We want to implement a peer-2-peer audio video communication application based on Adobe Flash player and RTMFP. This is save, but how do I convince the IT manager that is consistently told on the internet how to block peer 2 peer file sharing. Which is not what we are doing!
