How To Fix Windows 8 System Image Error 0x80780119

When trying to back up your Windows 8 OS with a system image, you end up with error code 0x80780119 and a very long explanation that you don’t have enough room on your backup media/drive. I’ve called Microsoft and Asus (maker of my laptop) Basically they both have told me that there currently is no fix, but I could purchase a 16GB drive and make a copy of the recovery partition onto the 16GB flash drive.

I’ve tried all of the “quick and long fixes” on the web with no successful results. Anybody got anything that works, or do all of us Windows 8 suckers going to have to wait at the mercy of Microsoft for a legitimate fix? Linux never looked better than now.
