How to install a program permanently on school laptop?

I’m taking a course which requires me to use Windows Skydrive. The problem is, Skydrive won’t work without google chrome. Since google chrome is not pre-installed on the laptop, I have to download it every time I turn on my laptop. It’s not against the school’s code of conduct, if anyone was wondering. Anyway, it’s not a big deal if it’s not possible but I was hoping to save a few minutes by not having to install chrome every time. Also, the laptop is made by HP and the os is windows XP.
