How to install and run windows xp on usb flash drive

The title says it all. I might just have looked at every article on the topic but theres always something that goes wrong. My drive is bootable. Windows xp detects it in setup. It just won’t install. I got an error once when installing. something about ntdlr or something. then it wouldn’t install. Does anybody know how to install windows xp on usb flash drive? I got a SimpleFlash 2.0 usb flash drive by SimpleTech by the way if that helps any.
