I am very trouble of how to make this work and keep as security as possible …
Now I want to host multi web site with the same Winodws Server 2003. And I have know that the IIS and FTP’s directory is under C:\Intetpub ..
but now I want to change their default directory to
For WWW
F:\virtualhost\domains\%username%\inetpub\wwwroot
For the directory to save the Access database file not let other to download by IE if they know the URL
F:\virtualhost\domains\%username%\home
Now, I am newbie for the NTFS permission setting, and not too understand how it work …
I want to set up a web site that can let different user login to management their web site, but can’t go to other root directory (F:\virtualhost\domains\)
For example:
Web site www.keishop.com (DNS have the ftp.keishop.com)
I using the keishop for the user name
WWW folder is
F”\virtualhost\domains\keishop\Inetpub\wwwroot
Access Database save in
F:\virtualhost\domains\keishop\home
Web site www.kathyshop.com (DNS have the ftp.kathyshop.com)
I using the kathyshop for the user name
WWW folder is
F”\virtualhost\domains\kathyshop\Inetpub\wwwroot
Access Database save in
F:\virtualhost\domains\kathyshop\home
But user keishop can’t visit up to the root directory and then go to kathyshop, kathyshop also same …
How to setting like that? All the NTFS permission and IIS setting, how to do it???
