how to redirect internet via rasberry pi?

Hi. I am looking to redirect my internet signal via another address to be able to make my IP seem that I am at another house to access things like bbc iplayer and location restricted services. I don’t want to use a 3rdparty VPN. A friend thought it would be possible to set up a rasberry pi in another house and have my computer send all traffic through that? Does anyone know how to do this or if it is possible? I would be happy to pay someone to set it up for me.
