Hypervisor has been detected

I am preparing to setup a virtual machine using https://www.techrepublic.com/blog/window-on-windows/get-started-with-windows-8-client-hyper-v-the-right-way/7893.
The Virtualization Technology is enabled in BIOS. However, when running the System Information utility to see the Hyper-V features, I get:
“a Hypervisor has been detected. Features for Hyper-V will not be displayed.”
This doesn’t sound right – I was hoping to see the 4 Hyper-V features like “VM Monitor Mode” and “SLAT Extensions”, etc. I am hoping someone can tell me what I need to do to see the features. Thx
