I can’t format my usb

i have a transcend jetflash V30 2 Gb flash drive.recently i can’t access my drive.it seeing some problem.if i plugged in to a Pc it shows do u want to format the drive.if i give yes it shows another problem.the disk is write protected. i cant format and access my usb drive. please give me a solution to overcome this problem. Thanks
