I cant get into Windows

I recently did an upgrade of my computer. On restarting, I get a message asking that I validate my copy of Windows and giving a YES and NO option. I click yes to validate and then nothing happens. I am unable to go into Windows to do anything at all, not even to validate. What should I do next. Apparently something went wrong during the UPGRADE setup.
