I love the smell of logon scripts runnin

Ok, okay… I give up. I will use kixtart… fine. But now someone has to explain how this thing works, the instructions are unclear to me. How do I install on the servers, or do I need to for Windows 2000 servers? How do install on the clients,Windows 98, 2000 and one NT. How do I write departmental scripts… like say the eng group gets the g: drive mapped to the \\dataserver\home\eng directory. (Since you can map three levels down in Windows 2000 might as well start). And other techniques or goodies to run in a default logon script would be helpful, heck a sample script would be worth extra points.
