IE7 Open multiple pages/open favorites

Hi
I support a number of PCs in a public library that have Internet Explorer 7 installed. At the moment we use a logon script that at the end loads a web page showing details about the library service. I have been asked to either open Internet Explorer with two tabs, one showing the existing information page and the second showing a page or useful links, or open the existing page, but with the Favorites window opened. Is there some way of achieveing this using command line switches or AD policies?
