IIS Migration Issue

Hi all,

We’re moving our IIS data from one server to another, and I tried doing a backup from the original server, sending the .MD0 file to the other server and copying it into the MetaBack directory. When I open IIS on the new server and go to restore it, the file shows up just fine. However, after going through the restore process, it fails. It gave three possibilities for why it could have failed, but none of them seemed to apply (near as I could tell).

Has anyone run into this before? Is there something I have to do first? I remember IIS 4 on NT had a Save As that made things a lot easier, and I thought IIS 5 on 2K would do the same thing.
