In Word 2007, how do I turn off textbox autosize in smart art?

I am building an organization chart and want to turn the text box autosize feature OFF!!! When I try to do this text box by text box, the autosize feature is greyed out. Please help. I’d like to turn the feature off completely; i.e., change the default. Thank you!
