informix installation on winxp

I have installed informix on a pc running on winxp.I logged on as administrator and instal the informix,but when I log on as a different user for example egyebi the informix does not appear at egyebi profile.This does not allow me to run some vital reports.It does not work when I give egyebi the administrative rights.Please help me.
