Installing ODBC Drivers

I want to re-install an Oracle 73 ver2.5 ODBC driver onto my Windows 95 PC and I keep getting an invalid page fault in module MSVCRT.DLL brought on by ORAINST. When I try to uninstall the driver I get the same fault. How can I get around this problem?
