Internet connectivity monitor

Is there a program that monitors your internet connectivity ?cable? then keeps a graph or a log or a chart of amount of down time and bad packets sent and lost packets? I need this because my internet with adelphia is really giving me trouble, and the guy asked me to monitor it. Thanks
