Internet explorer 7 connection problem

Please can anyone enlighten me why my internet explorer has stopped working (will not load any sites). I can access the internet with Mozilla without any problems. I have even un-installed then re-installed the software without success. The software has been working fine from the time it was in the Beta stage until now.
