internet explorer in protected mode

ok i understand that when i run internet explorer 7 with protected mode im not running it with my administrator account fine, but i have found on the net a command line to clear history using a shortcut C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 1, and then if i use it and enter the ie7 with protectec mode off the history appears blank but if i open ie7 with protectec mode on i see a lot of items in the history so
what history is it? wheres stored? cause my user history folder is empty after i use the shortcut as i can see in explorer.but the ie7 with protect mode on still presents a history thats annoying i want it cleaned as im doing the shortcut command
