IP Printing

I am in the process of migrating from Novell 3.12 to NT 4.0. I have 5 HP printers that use IP printing connected to the Novell server. My question is – can I configure the printers so that they connect to both the Novell server and the NT server simultaneously, or do I have to detach them from the Novell server then reattch to NT?
