irq routing table error

im trying to install win xp back onto a laptop, but keep getting BSOD. after using ubcd i find an error. it says “rom irq routing table is faulty” how can i fix this? i already flashed the bios, have all defaults on, changed ram, and changed hdd. still same problem.
