Is there a new virus going around?

I have emails in my yahoo inbox from my friends’ email addresses. The emails have stuff in their subjects that I know they would never write to me about.

I tried scanning my computer. Used F-Secure and AVG …… Plus I also have Spybot. Nothing came up. Anyone else experiencing this??
