is there any scope for software testing

i am simi karunakaran,completed my b.tech(ece) in 2008. i was thinking of doing course on software testing. will it be beneficial for me. will i get jobs. as i got some information that only experienced people are placed i.e. those who are having good experience in this field are placed…
