ISIS or TWAIN

We have a W2K ap that needs a document management ad on. Our programmers say TWAIN is the most comon driver to use with the SCSI Kodak scanner we intend to install. Our vendor says ISIS is the driver of choice in the document management industry. Are there any more pros or cons than this?
