Java now working with IE 6.0

I like to play pogo.com which requires java. I have the latest version of IE and also Java. It will not load. Now, I can use Netscape and it will bring up Pogo.com (java loades with no problem)however, after I play a few games, I start getting error messages. I would like to play pogo.com using IE. How can this be fixed?
