Keyboard does not work on virtual machine running on VMWare Player 4.0.6

I converted a laptop Dell E6420 on a VM (P2V) with the help of VMware Vcenter Converter Standalone (version 5.0.1) Now I am running a VM Player( version 4.0.6) and trying to run but VM launches ok and seems like its running fine but it doesn’t recognize keyboard I install reinstall VMware tools but keyboard still doesn’t work not even external USB keyboard. (When I plug in USB keyboard I do get a notification about recognizing a USB device attached).
I went in to device manager and noticed it has a PS2 keyboard driver installed with exclamation sign . So I guess I need to install a keyboard driver but need to know where I can get the driver for VM?
