Kodak Imaging: “Fold” in image

I recently upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows 2000. When using Kodak Imaging and trying to Cut and Paste parts of the image, the image becomes corrupted. It appears as if the right two inches of the page had been ripped off and pasted to the Left side. This will also happen when making Annotations permanent. Any suggestions
