laptop screen disabled

Hi guys I really need some professional advice.
I have an acer aspire 1640 laptop running on Windows XP.

For some idiotic reason I disabled both screen drivers (for the laptop screen and the external screen) and now there is no way to enable them back. After a reboot both screens show everything normally up to the point where the windows XP logo with the loading bar and then the screens simply get disabled.

I tried Safe Mode, Last Known Good Configuration, I checked the BIOS there seems that there is nothing I can do?

Is there anything else I could possibly do instead of another pointless format?

I’d really appreciate it if someone could point me to the right direction.
