learning VB

im a beginner in VB and i started to create a database and connect to VB. I created a database at MS Access and when i click to RecordSource it has an error meassage ” Unrecognized DatabaseFormat ” , I have a windows ME O.S , Office Xp , and Visualbasic 6….
