Limitation on data points

I have an Excel 2007 line chart that has 25 data points. I do not have the markers or numbers showing as I want to keep the line clean. However, I do want the data markers to be visible when someone clicks on the line. Unfortunately, only 16 of the data markers show up. Is there a workaround for what I have to assume is a limitation of Excel?
