Dear HELP!
For a Project with Datakey?s Serial development kit I was using implib version 2.0.140.1 to create the import library from the DLL.
I need a I2C Datakey to restore data from measuring units. The transfer rate from this kit is too low!!! But the application is working under WIN 98/NT/XP!!!
So I gained the USBI2CIO Interface from DeVaSys.
It is really what I need. Data from the measuring unit transfer to USB device, connect it to PC and edit Data and load data back to measuring unit.
A simple application could an Ethernet connection be. Since the hole measuring unit communicates with I2C this is no option.
My problem:
using implib version 2.0.140.1
and get Linker errors C++ 5.2
Why does my IMPORT Library works on the Serial port
and not on the USB port with the vendors DLL???????????
The VB application from the vendor works also under XP!
MY application with the Borland C Builder professional version gets Linking errors.
Like:ACCESS VIOLATION ATADRESS 027680E5 READ
OF ADDRESS 06E34650 and various other numbers write of ADDRESS like 02EF50BO or 02633BC e.t.c.
I just try to open en close the device.
You can see various Errors if I try to use implib from the Windows\system32,
Borland route or Project route!
Can you help me further with hints? The vendor say?s:
I do not use (or support) Borland’s builder, so I cannot provide much help.
I can say that I have had several similar emails from other customer who have had difficulty importing the dll.
XP?s Device manager is recognizing the
DeVaSys-USBI2CIO Interface board.
Best regards,
