local group policy editor access locked out!

by myteched . Updated 15 years, 6 months ago

hi,
have environment of SBS2K8 Std.Ed. with Win7Pro w/stations joined to the Domain .
To apply specific user policies (lock-down) on a specific w/station, I logged-in as a Domain standard user and used gpedit.msc on that w/station; enabled multiple policies under ‘User Configuration’ incl. disable ‘run’, cmd.exe; control panel etc.
Now that w/station is locked to an extent that whether I login as Domain Administrator; local Administrator to local w/station; same lock-down policies are applied to all of them….hence cannot do much on that w/station.
Any suggestions to how access local Group Policy Editor and reverse these policies?
Responses much appreciated.
cheers!
Eddie
