Logging and tracing manager

Everytime I start my system I am confronted with a message, “Logging and tracing manager…” and Report it. I have reported it several dozen times and nothing was done back at Microsoft! I have run Spy Sweeper (up to date and registered) and Norton Antivirus 2005 (also up to date and registered). Neither of which has found any malware/ virus targeted to the error MMDiag.exe. What is happening and how do I get rid/ correct it of the error?
