Logon problems

Having reloaded the NT 4.0 server, I find that I cannot logon at any of the NT 4.0 workstations. Before loading I removed the workstations from the server list and reconnected them after I had done the reload.
I have tried removing the clients fromthe domain and reconnected them with no positive outcome. Can anybody explain, how to do a reload without incurring this difficulty?
