Lotus Notes Data to MS SQL

We are programming a small SQL database for the Web, however we have found that most of the data is already in Lotus Notes. We know nothing about lotus notes, but I think it is not OBDC. I believe I could manualy export the data and then import intoSQL, however, I would like to automate this process, as when data is added to Lotus Notes, I would like to write something to go get the additons once a day or every few hours.

If anyone can help me or provide me a step by step guideline on how to do this from the Lotus Notes side, I would appreciate it.
