LPT1 on Windows Terminal Services client

I need to be able to control a machine tool from a thin client (Compaq T1010). I would like to read one data line from the client’s local LPT1 and set one of the control lines hi/lo. I need to do this from a VB 6 application running on the server. The server uses Windows 2000 Advanced Server (RDP). Any ideas anyone?
