M/S Word instability

I am using M/S Office 2007 & using Word to edit pages of a publication which are then distributed by Email to family members. The pages consist of text & sometimes pictures down the right hand side & explanatory sand boxes down the left side. In transit however the recipients tell me that some text appears to have moved in a vertical plain leaving relevant sandboxes in the wrong positions.
I would be most grateful if you could please advise me as to the probable cause & a remedy ? Very many thanks.
