MAC 10

I am new to MAC, and this is my question:

for the network connection, i am able to connect to network by manually enter IP address, but not though DHCP. envirnment:
window 2000 server/AD, and MAC 9.0 workstations or windows 2000 have not problem getting IP from DHCP.
