Missing .exe from HKey_Class_Root

Hi, okay I messed up… I need some help fixing a problem I created. I had a virus “ave.exe” and while removing it from my reg I accidentally deleted the “.exe folder” now I cant get back into my registry or anything for that matter can anyone tell me how I can fix this issue if at all? Without doing a re-install????
