More NT RAS

I’ve been trying to set up remote access between the server at work (there is only one), which is on a Flowpoint DSL router with WinProxy and runs WinNT server SP6. DHCP runs on the server, not on the router. It has a static IP address. I have Socket 5 installed, also.

I’ve been able to access my home computer (which runs W2K professional) from work, but I can’t get access to the work server. The connection seems to be refused. I can ping it, though. I notice that there’s a problem with the remote access service. It doesn’t want to start on the server, although it’s installed. I haven’t been able to figure out what the problem is yet.
The log just says there’s a error starting that service.

Has anyone run into this before?
