MS SQL MCSE

I am attending training to become a SQL DBA, however, I don’t know if I should take the BI or Data platform path.

I’ve done some research on the net, but didn’t really find anything that would sway me one way or the other. Are there any DBA’s out there with some friendly advice?

By the way, I’ve been in IT for many years and have had some exposure to MS SQL in the past, but not extensive by any means, so you consider me a newbie.
