MS Updates vs. Loss of WAN Connection

Server 2K3. 2 NICS – one intranet and one internet. Worked fine for months. All of a sudden I lost internet connectivity. All hardware works fine. Is there a particular MS Update that would have messed up this connection? Or a command I can run to rest winsock? netsh does not have a winsock option. Thank you!
