Msinfo32.exe How to

I would like to export system information to a txt,xls,xml or other file in order to populate a database in mysql that will centralize all the information for 450 pc’s and notebooks, msinfo32 is a good choice (90% of the machines are winXP)but it gives more info than i need, is there a way to retrieve only info that we want ? Help is welcome. TIA
