My desktop keeps entering power saving mode.

Hello, my HP desktop keeps switching to power saving mode after put it back to high performance. It has been doing this for around a year. Around once a day I have to open the “Control Panel” and go to “power options” and hit “High Performance”. My Desktop is much slower when it is in power saving mode and its very annoying. I am using a prebuilt with GTX 1060 mini and an i5 4 core processor. What is going on with my PC? Thanks.
