My friend’s Toshiba Satellite L305 laptop has keyboard/touchpad issues.

After warming up, the laptop begins to go haywire. The keyboard misses a couple of keystrokes while typing and when you left-click, the Properties dialog box appears. I’ve run an anti-virus program and when I tried to defrag the drive, the defragmenter ran for a couple of days until I finally quit the program. Any ideas?
